Have You Been Questioned for Jury Duty Within the Last Year?

Informed Consent

You are being invited to participate in research being conducted by Dr. Wendy Heath of Rider University.

 

 Purpose of the Study:


This study is designed to explore views of being questioned for jury duty ("voir dire").

 

Risks Involved in the Study:

There are no known risks involved in participating in this research. This study received approval from the Rider University Human Subjects Committee in November, 2010. Benefits Involved in the Study:

This questionnaire will help us understand how prospective jurors view the voir dire process.
 

What Will Be Asked of You:

You will be asked to answer a series of questions. Overall, participation in this study should take approximately twenty minutes. You will not be contacted for any reason, unless you request it. 

Your Rights as a Participant:

Your participation is completely voluntary, and you may choose to end the study at any time. If you have any questions or concerns you may contact:

Confidentiality and Anonymity:

Your identity remains completely anonymous. Your responses will never be matched to your identity, and no one will know how you personally chose to answer any of the questions.
