Dear Research Participant:

Your participation in a research project is requested. The title of the study is “Did You Have an Erection? Male Rape Myths – Ambivalence, Attribution of Blame, and Equal Protection”. The research is being conducted by Jordan Pate and Dr. Linda Bacheller, a professor in the Psychology Department at Barry University, and it is seeking information that will be useful in the field of psychology. The aim of this research is to examine how conviction in rape myths and ambivalence, hostile or benevolent, predicts attribution of blame towards male rape victims. The questionnaire is estimated to take no more than 30 minutes to complete.
