Texas Woman's University Project Nexus is an interdisciplinary personnel preparation project training Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) and Adapted Physical Education (APE) professionals to provide services to individuals with disabilities.
As a part of Project Nexus, we are pleased to offer this Parent/Caregiver Online Workshop with a live online session on Saturday, June 5th from 10:00 am to 11:00 am CST through Zoom.
This year the Project Nexus Parent/Caregiver Workshop consists of three offerings. The first two are online informational sessions that have been pre-recorded so that parents may view them at their convenience. These informational sessions highlight the 10 things that parents should know about speech language pathology and adapted physical education.
The third offering is a live online session on June 5th where SLP and APE scholars will share fun ideas that can be done at home to facilitate language, communication and physical activity engagement. Workshop attendees will be provided with instructional materials and provided with equipment give-aways.
Please answer the following five questions so that we can customize the live online session and share our resources with you.
