Library: Using Images as Answers

Introduction

A unique option available to PsychData users is the ability to use images as the answers to questions. Here is a sample:

How to Accomplish It

Accomplishing this question design requires a bit of extra work, but is well worth it. Just follow these directions to use images as answers in your survey:

  1. After logging into your account, upload your images to PsychData by choosing "Upload Images" from the "My Surveys Tab".
  2. Once you have uploaded your images, you will need to create the necessary HTML code for each answer.
    First, go "My Image Collection" and copy the link for each image.
    For example: https://www.psychdata.com/users/images/imagename1.jpg
  3. Now, just modify the start and end of your image link as in the example below:

    NOTE: Be sure to use single quotation marks, as shown above, and not double quotation marks.
  4. Follow steps 3 and 4 for each of your answers until you have your list of image answers:



  5. Finally, copy the list of image answers into the answer field of your new question.
